Meteorite 15 table is a lamp designed by Pio e Tito Toso for Artemide.
Meteorite was born from the search for a new sensibility, a new expressive language in blown glass lighting. We started with a love for glasses “beaten” Venetians, to the effect of grinding and the strong appeal of flavor “unfinished” that this type of processing to the glass door. We studied a particular blow and grinding process that allows to obtain interesting effects of light deep in the object when illuminated and made accessible to all, we could say to democratize, this beauty. ” Pio and Tito Toso.
Family of lamps that is divided into four types, with diffuser made of artistic glass double layer, obtained by the artisan blowing technique in a stationary mold and subsequent grinding.
