Ascent is a table lamp by Daniel Rybakken for Luceplan.
Essential in appearance, sophisticated in technology, conceptual for as expresses his idea of light, Ascent is an object of high poetic content, halfway between the heart and reason.
GESTURE The main novelty lies in the unprecedented gesture of lights, adjusting the intensity of light and turns off. it is a vertical movement, with which you move the small lampshade along the thin stem with a fluid and continuous movement, from top to bottom and vice versa. an unusual gesture, in its simplicity hides a complex process of design and implementation.
TECHNOLOGY intimate and conceptual ascent expresses many degrees of brightness, dimming through a very punctual, made possible by the electronic card placed in the head. the circuits present on the stem trasmettone of the inputs to the microprocessor that interprets the change of state of the lamp emitting, consequently, different degrees of light.
